Power interruptions are an occasional reality on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, whether from storms or routine electrical issues. To improve reliability and member access, CRPC will be installing a new backup generator to support critical systems at the range.
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, a 22kW propane-fueled generator will be installed to provide emergency power for the main clubhouse and front gate. Installation work may take most of the day, and the main clubhouse, the gate and the trap and skeet fields will be without power during the process.
Most other areas of the range should remain fully operational. The rifle and pistol ranges will continue to have power throughout the day. The bathrooms may also be affected.
To ensure continued access, the front gate will be opened and left open during installation. Because the clubhouse will not have power, guest badges cannot be printed. Members bringing guests should use blank guest badges, which will be available outside the main clubhouse entrance (weather permitting). Just hand-write your guest's name.
