Beginning August 15, 2026, CRPC will implement a new range-closure policy designed to further enhance safety during organized gun and archery competitions.
During Steel Challenge, USPSA and 2-Gun matches, the 3D Archery Range will be closed for the duration of the event, including match setup. Access to the Archery Range road will be physically blocked with a barricade and sign, beginning when match setup starts.
Likewise, during organized 3D Archery competitions, CRPC’s pistol and rifle ranges, excluding the rimfire ranges, will be closed for the duration of the archery event.
Because of the relative locations of these ranges, temporarily separating activities during organized competitions provides an additional margin of safety and helps ensure that participants in each activity can enjoy their event without interference from activity on the neighboring ranges. All ranges will remain open outside the scheduled competitions.
These temporary closures will be shown on the CRPC online calendar so members can check range availability before coming to the club.
The closures affect only the periods when organized competitions and their setup are taking place. Outside those times, the ranges will continue to operate normally.
This change is another step in CRPC’s ongoing effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone who uses our facilities. We appreciate members’ cooperation and encourage everyone to check the club calendar when planning a visit on competition days.
